Connect Telegram or X news to your server page

MineRate can import recent text posts from an official public Telegram channel or X profile. A saved community link and a working news importer are different things.

Use public sources you control. X importing also depends on MineRate’s configured API access.

Before you start

  • Verified ownership of the MineRate listing.
  • A public official news channel or profile with text posts.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Contacts and integrations

    Select the server in Edit server, then open Contacts and integrations. Use the source belonging to this project, not an unrelated community account.

  2. Enter the source URL

    For Telegram, use a public channel URL such as https://t.me/example_channel. For X, use https://x.com/example or its twitter.com profile equivalent. Invite-only Telegram links and individual X post URLs are not suitable profile sources.

  3. Save and inspect the source

    Save the listing, then use the source inspection controls shown in the editor. Confirm that the account exists, is public and contains readable text posts.

  4. Check the imported news on the server page

    Allow the background news synchronization to run. Imports are not instantaneous. The public page shows extracted text previews and links to the original posts, not a full copy of every media attachment.

If something does not work

Telegram is connected but no posts appear
Check that the channel has a public web preview and text posts. Private channels, unavailable previews or media-only posts may not provide text for this importer.
X is connected but no posts appear
The profile must be public. MineRate also needs working X API access; a missing configuration, API restriction or temporary limit cannot be fixed by repeatedly saving the same URL. Check the source message and report it if needed.
Replies or reposts are missing
The current X importer requests original posts and excludes replies and reposts. Publish the announcement as an original text post on the connected profile.

Common questions

Should I paste an API token or Telegram password into the listing?

No. Add only the public source URL. Platform importer credentials are configured by MineRate, not in a public server description or contact field.

Can I publish a wipe announcement without a social account?

Yes. Use the Events tool to add a confirmed wipe, season or other event directly to your server page.
