How to add your Minecraft server to MineRate

Adding an address creates a draft in your dashboard, not an immediately published advertisement. Start with the public endpoint players actually use.

Checked against the MineRate dashboard ·

Working address → draft → ownership verification → completed listing → moderation.

Before you start

  • A MineRate account.
  • A public server address and the correct edition and port.
  • Access to the server MOTD or domain DNS, or evidence for a manual ownership review.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Search before creating a duplicate

Search MineRate by your address and server name. If a listing was imported already, use the claim-existing-listing guide instead of creating a second entry.

  2. Open Add server and choose the edition

Sign in and open Add server in the dashboard. Select Java, Bedrock or Java + Bedrock. Crossplay requires a working Java endpoint and a separate working Bedrock endpoint, even when both use the same host.

  3. Check the public connection details

Enter the host and port, without https:// or a webpage path. Java commonly uses 25565 and Bedrock 19132; use your actual port. MineRate must receive a status response before a new draft can be created.

  4. Create the draft and verify ownership

After the address check succeeds, add the draft. Open its ownership confirmation and use the exact code displayed there. The draft belongs to your dashboard, but editing and publication require verified ownership.

  5. Complete the page and submit it

Fill in the name, description, supported versions, access requirements, relevant modes and official links. Save your changes, then submit the listing for moderation. Check its publication status separately from its online status.

If something does not work

The server must be online
Use the public status checker with the same edition, host and port. Check the public status listener and hosting rules before retrying; a working login alone is not a successful status check.
The address already exists
Claim the matching listing through the address check. Do not change the port or spelling just to bypass duplicate detection.
Crossplay checking fails
Check the Java and Bedrock endpoints independently. Java availability does not establish that the Bedrock port responds.

Common questions

Can I submit localhost or a private LAN address?

No. MineRate checks public endpoints. Addresses such as localhost, 127.0.0.1 and private network hosts are not suitable public server addresses.

Why is the server visible in my dashboard but not the catalog?

A draft is not a published listing. Complete ownership verification, save the listing and submit it for moderation. Approval and public visibility are separate from whether the address responds.
