Not whitelisted

“You are not whitelisted on this server”: how to join

A whitelist is an access list maintained by the server. The project can be online and still reject an account that has not been approved.

Updated

The server owner or its staff must approve access. MineRate cannot add you to their whitelist.

Follow these steps

  1. Read the server’s access requirements

Open its MineRate page and official community links. Look for an application form, invitation process or membership rules.

  2. Apply with the right player identity

Provide the Minecraft profile name requested by the owner. A MineRate username, email address and Minecraft name may be different.

  3. Check approval and the endpoint

Wait for confirmation, then reconnect to the address provided. If the network has several game servers, approval may apply only to a specific one.

  4. Ask staff to check your entry

If approved players still receive the message, send your player name, edition and exact error to staff. For Bedrock crossplay, ask which account identity their access list expects.

Common questions

Is a whitelist the same as a ban?

No. A whitelist grants entry to selected accounts; a ban denies access. Read the exact rejection message and ask staff if it is unclear.

Will creating a MineRate account unlock the server?

No. MineRate accounts and a Minecraft server’s admission process are separate.
