MineMania

MineMania is a small community server for children and young people with ASD/ADHD/PDA/SEND or other neurodiversities. The server is whitelisted, and members must apply to join for safeguarding purposes. It is a small and friendly community, a relaxed space to hang out with your friends. It is child led and co-created, and members contribute to building and developing if they wish to. The server is open 24/7 but we host 3 x weekly Zoom social sessions a week and hold an in person Minecraft Club on Saturday mornings in the West Midlands, UK. We also have special guest sessions with session leaders with special expertise, redstone specials, and coding in Minecraft courses. If the members have a special interest we try and make it happen. We have a Code of Conduct that we expect all members to abide by. We encourage parental involvement, parent volunteers, and communicate with parents about children's achievements. We have chat filters, Zoom and in-game chat logging, and log all placing/breakings and interactions in game for safeguarding. Our social sessions revovle around build projects, developing our server together, going on adventures, raids, playing mini games and collecting resources. Our weekly sessions are led by DBS checked, experienced tutors. Admin and Director Rachel Conlisk is Designated Safeguarding Lead and holds a Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate.
